The Chief Minister of Uttarakhand, Shri Pushkar Singh Dhami, extended his heartfelt appreciation for the recently released Hindi film ‘5th September’, which is currently running successfully in theatres across India. Shot entirely in the breathtaking locales of Uttarakhand, the film not only brings a compelling narrative to the screen but also places the state’s natural beauty and cultural richness in the national spotlight.

Speaking at a special felicitation event, CM Dhami remarked, “Uttarakhand is fast emerging as a favourite destination for filmmaking. The government is committed to offering every possible support through its film policy. Our scenic landscapes, serene environment, and supportive ecosystem are attracting filmmakers from all over the country.”

Director Mr. Kunal Shamsher Malla along with celebrated actors Sanjay Mishra, Brijendra Kala, and Deepraj Rana met with CM Dhami ji. All present expressed their deep gratitude to the state and its people for their support during the filming process. The film is produced by Anuradha Pundeer Malla and co produced by Mohit Srivastava.
