Close on heels of the launch of her perfume in the UK, the dark complexioned leady is all set to premiere her Broadway musical 'Miss Bollywood' in Germany.
The actor is presently finalising the nitty-gritties of 'Miss Bollywood' which will be along the lines of 'Moulin Rouge' and Andrew Lloyd Weber's 'Bombay Dreams'.
''In an year, which marks the completion of 60 years of India's Independence from British rule, Shilpa's Broadway Musical seeks to present to the West the ethics and culture of India, '' the actor's spokesperson Dale Bhagwagar said.
From the last couple of months, Shilpa's basic aim was to showcase Bollywood and Indian culture in the West, Mr Bhagwagar added.
Starting with shows in Germany for the first three months, the musical would travel to the UK and later to other parts of the world including the US and Australia.
Choreographer Ganesh Hegde would set the steps for the musical, while Shilpa would focus on her performance, leaving the singing to professionals, he mentioned.
The actor has already started rehearsing for the shows. Shilpa's costumes for the musical will be designed by renowned Indian designer Neeta Lulla.
''Her role requires lots of dancing and acting, which is something she loves doing anyway, '' the spokesperson said.
''Infact, after 'Big Brother', Shilpa was constantly under media glare with all her moves being marked. She was looking at expanding her horizons by going to another level. This musical gives her a chance to do something she's always wanted to, ''he added.
