But bad luck struck at the hotel she had put up in. She recollects: "There was a fire in the hotel because of a short circuit in its kitchen. We ran out of the building and the fire engines were quick to tame the flames. Luckily, it did not affect the floor I was put up in."
However, it was not the last scare she had on the tour. While Munisha was at her cousin's place in Jakarta, an earthquake measuring 7.4 on the Richter scale hit Java.
"I had been feeling very uneasy since the morning of August 8 and was telling my cousin that something was going to go wrong, especially since 8 is an unlucky number an associated with Shani. Past midnight, we found the chandeliers in our room swaying to and fro.
My cousin stays on the 22 nd floor and we had to rush down the stairs immediately. Though the tremor lasted for barely over a minute, the severity of it was enough to scare the wits out of us."
In Mumbai, too, Munisha got herself into a spot. At the airport, the custom officials detained her for carrying nearly 45 DVDs. "I told them they were for personal viewing. I had shopped like a maniac for clothes, bags, shoes and artificial jewellery and was carrying excess baggage," the actress said.
Luckily, a senior official recognized her from "Teen Deviyan" on Star and asked his subordinates to let her go. But not before getting his fortunes read out!
Now that Munisha is back home, its time she tucks away all the bad memories and relaxes a bit before getting back to work.
