The whole industry seems to be talking about Devdas and its special screening at Cannes Film festival last night. The response to the movie was apparently encouraging although the final results can only be judged once reviews from the screening are printed.

There was a large amount of buzz for Devdas, which has been heavily promoted at the festival, including live appearances by two of the film`s stars, Shah Rukh Khan and Aishwarya Rai.Aishwarya Rai in particular has been turning heads during the festival. Wearing a beautiful turquoise outfit during a press conference and a stunning gold sari for the actual screening, she looked a million dollars.

Shah Rukh Khan and Sanjay Leela Bhansali have also been busy charming everyone and answering all sorts of questions about the movie as well as the Indian film industry in general.
