This October, Zee Cinema is all set to transport you into the world of power, deceit and high-stakes drama with the World Television Premiere of Raid 2. Starring Ajay Devgn, Riteish Deshmukh and Vaani Kapoor, catch the premiere this Sunday, 12th October at 8 pm, only on Zee Cinema.

Directed by Raj Kumar Gupta, the film takes you into a fierce battle of truth versus illusion with its gripping narrative and powerful performances. With his unique style of heroism, swagger, sharp timing and unmatched intensity, Ajay Devgn is back to reprise the character of Amay Patnaik. The face-off between Ajay Devgn and Riteish Deshmukh forms the film’s core - their dynamics is full of chemistry and intensity, with Devgn’s calm restraint clashing against Riteish’s clout, a politician whose well-honed persona and loyal following make him a cunning nemesis. Adding weight and credibility to the story are seasoned performers like Saurabh Shukla, Rajat Kapoor and Amit Sial.

Speaking about his film, Director Raj Kumar Gupta said, “When you make a part 1, you just want people to like it. At that point, we weren’t thinking about a sequel right away. But after hearing new stories, we felt it would be interesting to take this character forward. That’s when the idea came and my writers and I worked together for a year to finally crack the story. I’m also excited that Raid 2 is now coming to homes with its World Television Premiere on Zee Cinema. The film is packed with high-voltage action, suspense and gripping drama and I can’t wait for audiences to experience the intensity right from their living rooms. It’s a story designed to keep viewers on the edge of their seats from start to finish.”

Talking about the film, Ajay Devgn, shared, “Amay Patnaik’s honesty and sharp mind have always connected with audiences. In Raid 2, his battle gets bigger, tougher and more intense. Raid 2 is produced by Bhushan Kumar, Kumar Mangat Pathak, Abhishek Pathak and Krishan Kumar. The film is presented by Gulshan Kumar and T-Series and is a Panorama Studios production.

Raid 2 follows the return of fiercely honest and incorruptible IRS officer Amay Patnaik (Ajay Devgn), as he goes after yet another powerful nemesis — Dadabhai (Riteish Deshmukh), who’s a snake in the garb of a saint. Will Amay Patnaik succeed in exposing the truth fighting against all odds or will the system crush his mission?
