Returning as Arif, Munawar Faruqui dives deeper into the psyche of a man haunted by his own choices.“In the first season, Arif chose the life he wanted. But in the second season, he is forced to live with the aftermath,” Munawar shared. “He’s trying to escape it, but the more he runs, the deeper he gets trapped. When you make the wrong call — in life or work, its consequences can destroy you. That’s when you become a survivor. And when you’re a survivor, you’re broken and ready to change something.”

Reflecting on one of the season’s most emotionally charged scenes, Munawar recalled, “There’s a moment where Arif learns of his father’s death, and his closest friend, Praveen, finds him on the terrace. Arif doesn’t open up easily, but that night, he cracks — in his own strange way. We shot that in a single take. The director said, ‘I don’t want another shot.’ We didn’t even realize what we’d captured until we saw the monitor; it was exactly what he wanted. Raw, unpolished, real.”
