The court, while hearing the revision petition along with bail application filed by the actor, ordered his release on a security of Rs 1 lakh and a bond of Rs 50,000.
The next date of hearing of the revision petition has been fixed on October 24.
Emerging out of the court, S Bajwa, the lawyer of Salman, expressed confidence that his client would come out clean and eventually be acquitted by the court.
The actor's case was heard by Justice H R Panwar after Justice G K Vyas refused to hear Salman's bail plea on Wednesday.
After calling for the case records on Thursday, Justice Panwar had deferred the hearing till Friday.
