Akshay Kumar may have been successful in wiping off his khiladi image for a while — thanks to his close bonding with the Darshans — but he is still nowhere near the Khans as far as star ratings go. His career though got a fresh lease of life when he shared the frame with none other than Amitabh Bachchan in two films.

Upset with the failure of Ek Rishta -The Bond of Love and his supporting role getting reduced to that of a sidekick in Aankhen, Akshay has vowed never to act with the Big B again. This is the same Akki who swore undying love for the megastar and "remembered his lines just when he had to look into Mr Bachchan`s eyes" while performing. His recent boycott of the Aankhen premiere in Singapore and his row with the producer has caused a lot of distress to the Bachchan though he has refrained from making any comment.

The repercussions were apparent last week though. Akki has been replaced by Sanjay Dutt in Mani Shankar`s next, which is headed by the Big B. The message is clear: you cannot mess around with Amitabh Bachchan.
