Tere Ishk Mein Crosses ₹50 Crore in India for Hindi Version
After just three days in theatres, Tere Ishk Mein surpassed the ₹50 crore mark for its Hindi version alone. The film’s producers, Colour Yellow Movies, celebrated the milestone with a special poster featuring Dhanush lying atop a jet, accompanied by the text: “₹50.95 crore (NBOC in India) – Only Hindi.”
Sharing the update on social media, the production house wrote: “When an ISHK saga like this hits hard, numbers hit harder!”
Dhanush also joined in the celebration with a post captioned: “Flying high! Har Har Mahadev.”
The numbers confirm that the film has been performing significantly better in Hindi than in Tamil, both domestically and internationally.
Worldwide Box Office: ₹68 Crore in the First Weekend
Tere Ishk Mein opened with an impressive ₹22 crore worldwide on Friday. By Saturday night, the film had climbed to ₹44.25 crore, maintaining strong momentum through the weekend.
According to box office tracking portal Sacnilk:
India Gross (Net): ₹52 crore
Hindi: ₹49.75 crore
Tamil: ₹2.25 crore
Overseas Collection: ₹6 crore
This brings the film’s total worldwide collection to ₹68 crore in its first three days.
While the Indian market has driven the majority of the film’s revenue, overseas performance remains modest. With Monday expected to bring a natural dip in footfall, the industry will now watch closely to see how soon the film crosses the coveted ₹100 crore milestone.
Why the Film Is Clicking with Audiences
Directed by Aanand L Rai, with a screenplay by Himanshu Sharma and Neeraj Yadav, Tere Ishk Mein delves into the intense and emotional relationship of Shankar and Mukti.
Played by Dhanush and Kriti Sanon, the characters reunite years later, only to confront unresolved trauma and a love story marked by turbulence and longing. The chemistry between the leads, combined with the film’s emotional depth, has resonated strongly with viewers—particularly Hindi-speaking audiences.
Will Tere Ishk Mein Enter the ₹100 Crore Club?
With a solid first weekend and strong audience support for its Hindi version, Tere Ishk Mein is positioned well for a sustained run. However, weekday performance will ultimately determine how quickly—and whether—the film enters the ₹100 crore club.
For now, the Dhanush–Kriti starrer continues to “fly high,” riding on powerful emotions, impactful performances, and strong word-of-mouth buzz.
