With Akshaye Khanna currently destroying the box office in Dhurandhar and Bobby Deol still riding the high of his 2.0 era, producer Ratan Jain (Venus Movies) has finally broken his silence on the much-awaited sequel.
Producer Speaks: "I Will Make It, But..."
In an exclusive chat with the media today, Ratan Jain confirmed that Humraaz 2 is a top priority for his production house.
"I can make Humraaz 2 if I get the right script for these two actors," Jain stated. "We need a script where they fit the part and have age-appropriate roles. We can't just make it for the sake of it."
The Akshaye Factor: "Let Him Settle!"
The biggest hurdle (or blessing) right now? Akshaye Khanna’s sudden superstardom. His portrayal of Rehman Dakait in Dhurandhar has turned him into the most sought-after villain in the country.
"Akshaye deserves better films now. Let him get settled after this humongous success. I will try to meet him soon; we are very good friends," Jain added, hinting that the ball is now in Akshaye's court.
Ameesha Patel: "We Are Ready!"
While the men are busy with action movies, Ameesha Patel is already hyping up the reunion. Fresh off the Gadar 2 success, she believes Humraaz 2 is a guaranteed blockbuster.
"The audience already loves the franchise. If the three of us come back, the opening itself will be massive," she told reporters recently.
Why Now? The "Villain" Era
Trade experts believe 2026 is the perfect time for Humraaz 2 because the dynamics have flipped.
Then (2002): Bobby was the hero, Akshaye was the villain.
Now (2026): Both are celebrated "Bad Boys."
Bobby: The mute beast of Animal.
