Bollywood megastar Aamir Khan enthralled the World Pickleball League (WPBL) 2026 spectators by playing an exhibition game with three lucky fans at the Jio World Garden tonight. Continuing his streak of appearing in the WPBL, Aamir pulled off a spectacle for the jam-packed audience, adding four feathers to the sportainment factor of the competition.

Saturday, February 7, was the day for the two semi-finals of the second season of the WPBL. As Chennai Super Champs cruised into the summit clash with a 3-1 win over Pune United, the fans waited with bated breaths for Aamir to step onto the court.

A sight to savour with the paddle in his hand, Aamir played two engaging games, defying age to produce one of the most memorable moments in the WPBL history.

“We are extremely thankful to Aamir for gracing the WPBL with his electric presence yet again. Right from the beginning of the tournament, there was intense anticipation over whether he would be turning up in the league again. The fact that he chose such an instrumental day of this season to do so must have surely delighted the fans, both in the stadium and those who are following the games from the comfort of their houses, alike. Prior to this entertaining encounter, Chennai furthered their peerless form from this season to roll past the Pune United by 3-1. With wins in women’s singles, mixed doubles, and women’s doubles, the Super Champs wrapped up their tie in merely four matches, in the presence of their co-owner Samantha Ruth Prabhu.
