After countless decades of formula/masala films, it is time for a change. And the person who wants to make a difference is none other than producer-director, Sanjay Gupta.

His latest offering, 'Dus Kahaniyan', has ten stories woven into one film. The stories deal with themes like love, marital woes, illicit liaisons, and gang wars. "This is the first time that an Indian movie is trying a different approach to cinema, " says Gupta.

The cast includes Bollywood greats like Shabana Azmi, Naseerudin Shah, and Gupta's close buddy, Sanjay Dutt. Twelve writers and six directors have got together for the project, which is due for release on November 23. sanjaygupta
