The city of Mysore witnessed three dazzling evenings of couture, creativity, and celebrity glamour as Mysore Fashion Week (MFW) Season 8 concluded at the picturesque Silent Shores Resort & Spa. Curated by renowned designer and fashion entrepreneur Jayanthi Ballal, the city’s premier fashion showcase brought together celebrated designers, celebrity showstoppers, supermodels, and fashion enthusiasts, turning Mysore into a vibrant hub of high fashion.

Over three days, the runway hosted an exciting lineup of designers who presented distinctive collections blending craftsmanship, contemporary silhouettes, and rich design narratives.

The opening day began with showcases by JD Institute of Fashion Technology, followed by Vishnu Designs and Harish Akkisetty, highlighting fresh design perspectives from emerging talent. The evening then moved to established designers, including Rosy Ahluwalia, whose collection “Noor Raat” celebrated intricate artisanship through rich hues of black, mustard yellow, and deep red, enhanced with delicate hand embroidery and refined pearl detailing. Actor Mannara Chopra walked the runway as the celebrity showstopper.








The opening night concluded with designer Gagan Kumar, presenting for Timex, who unveiled his elegant collection “Shvetara – A Symphony Collection Adorned in White.” The collection featured graceful lehengas and dresses embellished with Gotta Patti artistry, braso textures, and luminous pearls. Actor Archana Gautam added star power to the runway as the celebrity showstopper.

Day two of the fashion spectacle continued the momentum with a dynamic mix of contemporary and couture presentations. Designers Naveen Kumar and Bushra Jamal opened the evening, followed by Rehan Shah for Timex, with Ritu Shivpuri walking the runway. Rachika Suresh and Kalpana Das Gandhi walked as showstoppers for Naveen Kumar and Bushra Jamal, respectively.

The spotlight then shifted to Riyaz and Aman Gangji for Blenders Pride, showcasing bold designs and sharp silhouettes. Shusmitha Bhat walked for Suresh Menon, while Bhargavi Kunam, presenting for Silent Shores, closed the evening with fluid silhouettes and refined detailing.

The grand finale evening opened with Nayaan and Kshitij’s contemporary collection featuring artistic textures and modern silhouettes. This was followed by Dreamzone, with Meenakshi as the showstopper for designer Kingshuk Bhadhuri, and designer Pankaj Soni for Timex, who presented a refined couture showcase blending craftsmanship with statement silhouettes.

One of the highlights of the finale evening was the showcase by Jayanthi Ballal, presented in collaboration with Sonani Jewels and Timex, in which couture ensembles were complemented by striking jewellery, creating a luxurious visual narrative on the runway. Actor Aditi Pohankar walked as the celebrity showstopper for Jayanthi Ballal.

The three-day fashion spectacle concluded with actors Vatsal Sheth and Ishita Dutta walking the ramp for Aynaa World, whose collection featured elegant silhouettes, rich textures, and intricate detailing, bringing the event to a glamorous close.
