Moving beyond symbolic celebration, Chohan marked the day by distributing hundreds of human rights and constitutional awareness books to school students, while also conducting interactive sessions that brought the values of the Indian Constitution to life. The initiative reached hundreds of students, creating a space for dialogue, curiosity, and deeper engagement with the ideas of equality, dignity, and justice.
Speaking about the initiative, Chohan shared, “For me, cinema and society are not separate — both are about reaching people and awakening something within them. If we can inspire awareness at a young age, we are shaping a more conscious and empowered future.”
Known for her work across multiple languages and industries, Chohan has steadily built a distinct identity that bridges performance with purpose. Her work in human rights is not limited to advocacy online, but extends to direct engagement through workshops, school outreach, and awareness-driven initiatives.
During the sessions, students were introduced to the fundamentals of the Constitution, their basic rights, and the importance of understanding both rights and responsibilities as active citizens. The interactive format encouraged participation, making the conversations both accessible and impactful.
With this initiative, Chohan continues to use her platform to create meaningful change, demonstrating how influence can be translated into action. By choosing to engage directly with the next generation, she reinforces the idea that awareness is the first step toward transformation.
As a Pan-India actor who seamlessly blends cinema, culture, and social impact, Sheena Chohan represents a new wave of artists who are not only shaping narratives on screen but also contributing to the larger narrative of society.
Continuing to create a movement, Sheena has reached over 170 million people with a message of human rights, earning recognition at the United Nations in New York as the only Indian actor to receive the Hero Award, and being honoured with the Presidential Volunteer Service Award by Joe Biden; her goal now is to reach a billion people within the year.
