So how come Papa Kher is missing from all the posters?

It does look like an odd family portrait with the papa missing...somewhat like Sreeram Lagoo in Mrinal Sen's Ek Din Achanak who one day simply walks out on his family never to return.

"I do no such thing in Laga Chunri," Anupam tries to laugh off the seemingly deliberate omission. "They probably wanted big stars on the poster. In any case my relations with the Chopras are too precious and deep for me to question them about anything. I work blindly for them, knowing fully well they are going to do full justice to me."

But it does seem odd that Mama Jaya Bachchan is a prominent part of the poster designs while Papa Bachchan is not.

"Oh, Jayaji has a far far more important role than me." Adds Anupam diplomatically.
