Amitabh Bachchan has been refusing films with Akshay Kumar and rumour has it that he is not ready to work with Akki in the future.

If sources are to be believed the anger is because of Akki's refusal to join his Unforgettable world tour and his grabbing the Hindi remake of Malayalam film, ‘Manchaitratazu' that has now released with Khiladi Kumar in the lead as ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa.'

According to our sources, "Big B has till now declined Rohan Sippy's ‘Made In China', apart from Vipul Shah's ‘Namastey London' and two other yet untitled ventures by big makers.

Producers wanting to cash in on Akshay's growing super stardom and Bachchan's never ending charisma are in for a disappointment nowadays whenever they approach the ageing superstar. On the other hand, Akshay got ready to do these movies with or without Big B".

The source says, "Vipul Shah had given two hits (‘Aankhen' and ‘Waqt: The Race Against Time') with the Amitabh - Akshay jodi and he wanted to strike a hat trick with, ‘Namastey London'. But Big B refused the offer bluntly and expressed his displeasure over Akki.

The role later went to Rishi Kapoor. Vipul has approached Big B again as he wants to make a thriller movie starring both the characters but it seems his wish will not come true.

Akshay will still be a part of the movie as the character is portrayed keeping him in the mind. Now who will play the role etched out for Big B is as of now a mystery."

According to a Bollywood insider, this issue between Akki and Big B stemmed a couple of years back, "Big B wanted to do the Hindi remake of the Malayalam hit and wanted to play the role of the psychiatrist but he could not do so because of his ill health.

Akshay came to know about this role and with the help of his friend and T series head honcho Bhushan Kumar grabbed the role. Big B was hurt with this and expressed his displeasure ness by refusing film after film with him."

He adds, "But he also thought about letting it go and decided to take back his stand on Akshay.

So he tried to bond with Akshay again and when the special stage shows, titled, ‘The Unforgettable Tour', covering 6 continents and 18 countries was being planned out by the Bachchans, with Amitabh, his son Abhishek, daughter in law Aishwarya, Lara Dutta, Bipasha Basu and Riteish Deshmukh, Bachchan's officials approached Akshay.

But then Akki showed them the door. He flatly refused to be a part of it. This hurt Bachchan more and since then the momentum of the fight has increased."
