It is a double celebration for Indians in the Gulf nation, with two Bollywood films -'Saawariya' and 'Om Shanti Om'- releasing on the occasion of Diwali.

Many multiplexes in the emirates are running to packed houses as cinema buffs booked their seats in advance to watch both films on the same day, the Gulf News reported.

The tickets for Ranbir Kapoor starrer 'Saawariya' were sold out in no time.

"The bookings for this movie started Wednesday evening. In no time, all the tickets were sold out," a salesperson at the Grand Megaplex at Ibn Batuta Mall told the paper.

Shahrukh Khan starrer 'Om Shanti Om' witnessed a similar response from enthusisatic cine-goers who made repeated enquiries to get tickets for the movie.
