Is Daddy's blue-eyed boy Harman Baweja being prepared for a launch, a la Hrithik Roshan?
Think of the similarities. Hrithik had his dad launch him in style in Kaho Na...Pyar Hai with Kareena Kapoor (who was later replaced by Amisha Patel). For the 'privilege' of working with the debutant,Priyanka has been paid a fortune for Love Story 205.
Harman is all set to be launched by dad in a sci-fi flick which is more than partially inspired by Steven Spielberg's Minority Report.
Like Rakesh Roshan who has got the best technicians in the US to work on the special effects in Krissh, Harry Baweja has got technical expertise from the US to ensure his son's futuristic flick looks furiously feisty.
The similarities between Hrithik and Harman's debut are one too many. Both are star-sons who have assisted their filmmaker -dads. Hrithik was an AD on Rakesh Roshan's Karan Arjun and Koyla. Harman is on board right now assisting Vikram Bhatt in the film that Bhatt is making for Harry Baweja.
Both are extremely focused, hard-working dudes with more to them than just an insiders' advantage.
Hopefully Harman won't end up being the resident hero in his dad's films, unsuccessful outside home ground.
Just look at Hrithik's track record....super-hit with dad in Kaho Na...Pyar Hai and Koi...Mil Gaya. Disastrous with everyone else including Farhan Akhtar in Lakshya, Subhash Ghai in Yaadein and Sooraj Barjatya's Main Prem Ki Deewani Hoon.
The hi-tech Krissh was Hrithik's comeback film. It is bound to be compared with Harman's debut film which opens mid-2008.
