"Forget about replacing Shah Rukh Khan, I can't do that in this lifetime. I haven't even met Mr Hirani. So I don't know who started this rumour, or where it's coming from. Of course I'd love to work with Raj Hirani. After Munnabhai who wouldn't? But first there has to be an offer, no?"
At the moment Ranbir is fully into projecting Saawariya. "I'm willing to do anything as long as it helps the film. But finally it's the product that counts. Shouting from rooftops isn't my idea of helping my film. People have liked me and the film, and that's what counts."
Contrary to the moony-eyed devoted Devdas in Saawariya Ranbir plays a guy with a roving eye in his next film for Yashraj Films which starts later this month.
Though Ranbir refuses to talk about it at the moment, his co-stars Bipasha Basu, Katrina Kaif and Deepika Padukone are in preparation for the start-to-finish shooting.
