Amongst the sudden flood of new channels, there is one from NDTV which is called NDTV Imagine. In an attempt to be different from new and existing channels, NDTV Imagine has come up with a show with a unique concept.

It is titled 'Nachle Ve with Saroj Khan'. The basic concept is simple – choreographer Saroj Khan will teach aspiring dancers how to groove like her.

This is Saroj's second tryst with television, after 'Nach Baliye'. "I want to make one thing clear," says the choreographer, "this is no competition, there are no auditions, and it is definitely not a reality show. I will teach dance on television, and viewers will learn how to dance. "

Well, it may not be a reality show, but it has been the reality shows on various channels that have made Bollywood dancing so popular with viewers. And Saroj agrees, and adds, "People were never too much into dance earlier, but shows like 'Nach Baliye' and 'Jhalak Dikhla Jaa' have made them alert. "

So will she agree to private coaching for the participants of the show? Apparently not. "I cannot do anything else besides this show, at least for a year," she says, adding that she has signed a contract with NDTV Imagine.

"This is why I am not taking up any Bollywood project, and, if NDTV Imagine does not want me after this, then I will resume my private classes. In the meantime, whoever wants to come here, is welcome," says the maestro.

The masterji, who is responsible for Madhuri Dixit's 'Ek Do Teen' dance, rues the fact that there are no dancers like Madhuri anymore.

"I do not see Madhuri in any of the stars we have now, but I am still searching for someone like her. I would want all my daughters (heroines) to be great dancers," she says, adding that she believes Madhuri and she must have had some special bonding in their past lives.

Saroj relents her stand a little by mentioning that she has some hope from Vidya Balan.
