Sampada Vaze is well-known in the world of Indian television.

What many do not know about her, however, is that she is quite a cell phone and car freak.

And, in keeping with her unusual taste, she bought a new car recently – a Volkswagen Passat, one of the nine cars launched in the country. Sampada loves big cars.

"I am very excited," says Sampada. "Cars have always been my passion. I have been eyeing this car for a long time, and it is a delight to finally own it," she adds.

She also says that she has never been much into jewellery and shopping, despite her glamourous lifestyle.
