Zee Cinema seems to have come up with an innovative idea to get kids to meet Aamir Khan. The channel has announced a creative painting contest for children, titled 'Meri Duniya'. This is a part of the organisation's
association with the actor's directorial debut, 'Taare Zameen Par'.
The contest calls for kids to put their imagination to good use, and to depict their world through paintings. The contest will be extended to select orphanages.
The winners and special children from orphanages
will get a chance to interact with Aamir on the sets of Zee Cinema, and this interaction will be telecast on the channel during commercial breaks of the actor's film, 'Ishq', slated to go on air at 8. 30 pm on December
20.
"Aamir Khan makes a film after long intervals and every film release of his is the biggest and most anticipated event around.
Zee Cinema is proud to associate with Aamir Khan and his directorial debut, Taare
Zameen Par. And we are certain that the ‘Meri Duniya' contest will be an ideal platform for children to connect with the film," says Mohan Gopinath, Business Head, Zee Cinema.
The contest begins on
December 3, and the last date of entries is December 12.
