Two children Aarti and Ajay escape from kidnappers and take shelter in an abandoned temple. The kidnapper and his henchmen arrive and set fire to the temple door trying to burn them.

As the girl prays to the idol of Lord Krishna, pleading to be saved, it seems by some miracle her prayers are answered and the goons get a beating. A ‘pujari' appears which prompts the boy Ajay to believe that they were saved by him.

But the ‘pujari' who is none other than Lord Vishnu's devotee Narad assures the children that it was none other than the Lord himself who is their saviour. But the boy is skeptical.

Narad now decides to prove the Lord's power and his role as a saviour and tricks the children into reciting a mantra which sends them hurtling into space, their dress and appearance changes to a traditional look.

They are transported in time when the world is facing a cosmic dissolution. Lord Brahma the creator is now resting through the night waiting for the dissolution of the world before he starts creation for a new age. (Brahmadev creates through the day which spans millions of years and the dissolution takes place in just one night).

While sleeping the Vedas slip out of Brahmadev's mouth and a demon Hayagreev decides to absorb these Vedas, which is seen by an Apsara who panics and approaches Narad muni to stop the catastrophe.

Now Lord Vishnu appears to fulfill the cosmic destiny of selecting the 'Manu' to carry civilization forward and save the Vedas for mankind.

What follows is ten incarnations of Lord Vishnu as seen by the children.
