Actress Raveena Tandon and model Suchitra Pillai have been good friends for over a decade now. They first met when Raveena began her stint as a model for Sunsilk shampoo. Suchitra happened to be the coordinator for the ad and the two hit it off ever since. Both the real life friends have now been pencilled in to play "reel" friends in Madhur Bhandarkar`s Satta.

Satta tells the story of a housewife who is compelled to step into politics when her husband is wrongly accused of a crime he has not committed. The film boasts of powerful characters to be played by hardcore theatre veterans in addition to these two hot mirchis. The film is expected to release by the end of this year.
