What should you do when your co-star walks off with all the laurels? Either fret and fume or, if one is smart enough, grin and bear it. But Bobby Deol has gone a step further.
Deol Junior is on the edge ever since the initial response to his latest release, Humraaz, left nobody in any doubt about who the real star of the show is. It`s Akshaye Khanna. Bobby was desperately hoping to turn his career around with the Abbas-Mustan-directed thriller. Though his performance has been appreciated, he has been overshadowed by the brilliant Akshaye.
Bobby hasn`t however missed a trick here. As soon as the film was out, he was on television telling the world how famously he got along with "all the Akshays" - his childhood buddy of the same name, Akshay Kumar and Akshaye Khanna. And he never fails to acknowledge "Khanna`s enormous talent". It is not for nothing that the Deols have such a committed following in the industry.
