Aishwarya Rai`s role as a host for an international golf and bikini event was short lived after the actress failed to attend the event.

The Devdas star was billed as one of the hosts for the four-day charity event in Los Cabos (Mexico), together with model Amber Valletta and football star Marcus Allen.

However her hectic schedule came in the way and she was forced to cancel at the last minute.
