Bollywood actress and Congress' star campaigner Nagma today said violence was not a proper medium to express anguish.
In a brief interaction with reporters at the UP Congress headquaters, she said violence against north Indians in Mumbai was tragic. ''One should not take constitution or law in ones hand...violence cannot achieve any
results,'' she added.
''Mumbai belongs to everyone and it should not be divided on regional lines,'' she claimed.
She, however, refrained from naming either Raj Thackery or his Maharashtra Navnirman Sena.
To a poser on her plans to contest elections, she said as an actor and as a Congress member, she was always willing to serve the people. But the actress, who has worked in several Hindi, Marathi and Bhojpuri
movies, left a final decision on AICC president Sonia Gandhi.
She also appreciated the developmental works being carried out by Amethi MP and AICC general secretary Rahul Gandhi.
