Sanjay Leela Bhansali`s epic may have missed out on Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham`s UK box office record, but it is still a massive blockbuster amongst the British.The big budget movie collected a whopping £466,370 from 54 sites in its first weekend, the second highest opening ever for a Bollywood movie in the UK.

The film has created a rage amongst the British Asian audience, who have been flocking to cinemas all weekend.Not only a high box office total, the film also managed to get the highest site average for the weekend, beating off competition for each and ever Hollywood release, including Spiderman, Scooby Doo and Minority Report.
