Former Item girl Huma Khan was arrested by Police for allegedly kidnapping and torturing her maid's 12-year-old daughter for the past eight months.

Inspector Bharat Jadhav of Mira Road police station said here today that a twelve-year-old girl was working as a maid servant in the house of accused at Bhayendar in neighbouring district of Thane.

Accused and her younger brother Samir had taken the victim to Pune, where Samir had allegedly raped the minor with the help of the former. The victim had bruises all over her body, including her private parts.

As news of the brutality spread, neighbours gheraoed the Mira Road police station, demanding that Khan be handed over to them for punishment.

Cases of rape, attempt to murder, kidnapping and criminal intimidation were registered against the actress.
