After Sony Pictures and Warner Brothers, 20th Century Fox has set its eyes on Bollywood and is planning to produce a film.

It is not yet known whether Fox will get involved in Bollywood productions directly or through one of its subsidiaries or enter into joint production deals with any of the Bollywood entities.

The Mumbai office of the company refused to reveal anything about its head office decision. It is learnt that Fox may make a formal announcement soon.

Fox, by the way, had collaborated with its sister wing, Star Plus, to produce a Hindi movie, Urmila Matondkar and Saif Ali Khan starrer 'Ek Hasina Thi' in 2003. But the movie, directed by Sriram Raghavan, turned out to be a forgettable fare.

However, this time around, Fox has done its homework well, weighing all the pros and cons.
