Q. How do you find working with the freshers in Anu Ki Ho Gayi Wah Bhai Wah?
A. It is very nice working with all the fresh faces. I completely understand the pressure all freshers have to go through. I try my best to be nice to all of them.
Even we get to learn from all of them; especially their energy level is something I would want to imbibe from them. They all are very cooperative people. Definitely I am looking forward to a great time with everyone.
Q. We have heard that the channel replaced the previous actor as he had a gayish look...What's your comment on the same?
A. I really can't say anything about this. The replacement was been decided by the channel and the production house so it's their issue in which I would not like to interfere. I was offered this role, so I am doing it and that's it.
Q. You are also working in Baa, Bahu Aur Baby. So how do you manage time between the two shows?
A. To be very honest it's really difficult to manage time. In Baa, Bahoo Aur Baby, my character is having a love triangle which requires lot of scenes.
Here in Annu Ki Ho Gayee Wah Bhai Wah too, I am there in almost every scene. Though I am always running, I love it as it's my own choice to do two shows at the same time.
Q. Are you happy with your career graph?
A. I am really satisfied and happy with the graph. Today I am a celebrity but at the same time, I am not over exposed. I have done one film too.
Right now I am concentrating on both television and films. Everything is balanced in my career, so I am content.
Q. Tell us more about the film?
A. This is Aziz Mirza's film called Kismat Connection. The film is already completed and I have a prominent role in it. The film will be releasing this year. Right now, I can tell you only this much as I am in contract with the production house.
Q. What would be that one thing you would like to change in television...
A. One thing which I would like to change would be more liberty to actors to perform with lesser pressure.
Nowadays the actors are doing two or more serials at a time because of which they have to work endlessly to meet the deadlines.
According to me, I would want my script to be given well in advance so that we actors can do the homework in our best way possible.
Q. Can we expect you to see you in the next season of Nach Baliye...? If yes who would be your Baliye?
A. I don't think you would be able to see me in next season of Nach Baliye as I don't have my partner. But I love dancing so if I find a right partner by next year, then definitely I would take part. I really like the concept of the show.
Q. We haven't yet seen you in a saas-bahu kind of a show...Why?
A. To an extent it was my deliberate decision. I feel I am not fit for those roles as I haven't prepared myself for saas-bahu shows.
I always want to try different kind of roles and (touchwood) God has been kind enough to give me diverse roles.
Q. Where do you see yourself in, five years from now?
A. Five years from now, I would like to see me as a successful actor, though I am confused whether I would want more success in films or television... (smiles) - Sakshi Tiwary
