Naveen Pravakar who shot to fame with The Great Indian Laughter Challenge, is now all set to knock th doors of Bollywood. Unlike his fellow Laughter Challenge colleagues, Naveen has grabbed the lead roles in not one, but two films.

Here is the man sharing his thought on his upcoming films..

Q. How does it feel to be a celebrity?
A. After joining the Great Indian Laughter Challenge, I became famous and every one started recognizing me after that. I am not doing any show in television now, but still people recognize me wherever I go, and this feels really nice.

Q. Did you ever get a though on what will happen if you loose the Laughter Challenge?
A. I never stand on the stage to loose; I do all my work with full confidence and conviction, so I never think of losing.

Q. You are playing lead roles in two films one is Ram Gopal Verma's Mujhe Ramuji Ko Milna Hai and the other is Suresh Jain's Saturday night. How do you feel? Are you happy with this?
A. I really feel honored to have bagged these films. By the grace of God, I need to work hard now and prove my worth as an actor.

The shooting of 'Mujhe Ramuji...' is almost over and it will be ready for release later this year. Now I am preparing myself for the shooting schedule of 'Saturday Night' which starts from 13th of this month.

Q. Can you tell us about the story lines in these films.
A. I can't reveal anything regarding the films as I am not supposed to do so now.

Q. Tell me something about your characters in both the films?
A. I can't reveal anything about this also, we will do so when the appropriate time comes.

Q. How different are both the characters from each other?
A. Both are different from one another as Mujhe Ramuji Ko Milna Hai is a serious movie where I have a serious character and in Saturday night, my character is based more on the comic lines, as it is an out an out comedy movie. So both the characters are completely different from one another.

Q. Will you continue with films if these two films become a hit? In that case, will you also continue with your stand up comedy shows after that?
A. Yes, definitely I am not coming into television these days but I have not yet stopped doing stand up comedies. The corporate shows and other stage shows are still on.

Q. Do you think people will accept you in films too?
A. When I started with stand up comedy I did not know whether people will like me in the role or not but I was liked. So likewise I hope people will like my action too.

After playing the role of Gabbar Singh didn't people accepted Amjad Khan in other roles? The only thing that matters is with how much conviction you perform your role.

Q. Do you write your own script? How much contribution of yours is there in the films you are doing?
A. Yes, I write my own scripts. I don't believe in other's joke.

Q. Will you do any T.V. serial apart from doing films?
A. I have not thought about doing any T.V. serials because people forget about those very quickly. Serials don't leave the impact that films leave. So I would like to stick to films only.

Q. According to you, why is the ratio of woman stand-up comedians so less in comparison to men...?
A. I think there has not been enough open area for women in our stand up comedy field or they may not be aware of the glamour of this field and moreover they are more bonded by shyness, ek sharmse bandhi hui hoti hai ladki ya aurat, so they can't perform with full liberty, what men can do.

Q. So do you mean to say women don't possess a good sense of humor?
A. No, women are more sensitive regarding jokes and the way women understand jokes and perform it men cannot do so like them.

Q. What did you start your career with?
A. I started my career with comedy on stage, and after that I joined Laughter Challenge which gave me name and fame and I am very happy about it.

Q. Five years from now where do you see yourself to be?
A. Five years from now I see myself as a very successful actor, a proved actor with glamorous acting skills. I want to see myself performing with big stars like Akshay Kumar, Akshay Khanna, Amitabh Bachchan, Abhishek Bachchan and all.

Q. Any other projects you are working on at the moment?
A. Right now I am not doing any other projects apart from doing these films, viz. Mujhe Ramuji Ko Milna Hai, Saturday Night and two other films about which I can`t reveal anything now because I am bound to follow the rules.- Sabir Rahman
