Unperturbed by media reports on his alleged telephonic conversation with Pakistan-based gangster Chota Shakeel, throwing light on links of Bollywood with the underworld, film actor Sanjay Dutt on Monday night celebrated his 45th birthday at a five-star Suburban hotel.
Dutt`s alleged talk with Shakeel on November 14, 2000, attracted nation-wide attention with the Electronic media telecasting a portion of the 45-minute conversation and newspapers publishing excerpts thereof.Police had intercepted the talk and produced an audio cassette in a special court to reveal the nexus of Bollywood with underworld.The actor attended the birthday party celebrations, hosted by his close associate and producer-director Sanjay Gupta, who allegedly figured in the conversation. Also present was Director, Mahesh Manjrekar, who allegedly spoke to Shakeel .
Dutt`s sister Priya and brother-in-law Kumar Gaurav attended the party. Among others present were Sohail Khan, Arbaaz Khan, Jackie Shroff, Sushmita Sen, Adnan Sami, Rohit Roy and Bikram Saluja.
