Mrinal Kulkarni, the veteran actress used to love only the Ghazals and classical number till the time Jjhoom India, the singing reality show came her way.

Exposure to some of the classic Bollywood numbers have really opened her eyes now, as she says, "Jhoom India has really changed my mindset after hearing some good Bollywood numbers over there".

From recent releases she likes, "'Maula Mere Maula' from Jodhaa Akbar, 'Yeh Ishq Hai' from Jab We Met. An ardent fan of the old songs, Mrinal's five all time favorite includes "Lagja Gale' by Lata Mangeshkar, 'Piya Tu ab Toh aaja' and all the songs from Sanjay Leela Bhansali's 'Devdas'.

Talking of the most favorite romantic number, Mrinal states, "There are lots, but the latest one I love a lot is 'Kehne Ko Jashne Bahaara Hai' from Jodhaa Akbar.

Comparing today's songs to old ones, Mrinal says, "In number, I believe that there were many better songs in the past". The actress says that 'Old is always Gold', but seeing the changing era, the actress has no problem moulding herself to the atmosphere and new taste around her.
