It's meant to be an Indo-Pak co-production. But Shash Ranjan's comedy Dhoom Dhadaka was shot largely in India
and Bangkok.
So much for attempts to cement bonds between India and Pakistan on a cultural level.
On a more positive note Anupam Kher sings in Dhoom Dhadaka. "My producer-director informed me that he wants
to sing, and I said why not?
I love singing. I've earlier sung for Laxmikant-Pyarelal in Mera Pati Sirf Mera
Hai and a limerick for Yash Chopra's Vijay. Then I also sang a song for a film directed by K.Pappu."
Anupam says singing is a passion. "I'd say my caliber of singing falls between bathroom and professional singing.
I grew up listening to film songs and they were my introduction to Hindi cinema. In fact if you listen closely to
Lataji's songs, all the emotions expressed in the acting for our cinema are to be found there."
Anupam's song in Dhoom Dhadaka is composed by Roop Kumar Rathod.
