Out of the four films, ''Via Darjeeling'' directed by Arindam Nandy is ready for release, while ''Manjaadikuru (Lucky Red Seeds)'' directed by Anjali Menon and ''Bioscope'' directed by K M Madhusudanan are at post production stages. The fourth- ''The White Elephant'' directed by Aijaz Khan is still under production.
NDFC which has produced some of cinema's memorable films like '' Gandhi'', ''Ardh Satya'' and ''Mirch Masala'' has inducted veteran actor Om Puri as its new Chairman and has also received Rs 30 crore from the Information and Broadcasting Ministry to be invested in projects over a five-year period.
