Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar next film "ROCK ON" released its first poster across 3000 cinemas worldwide this week.

The film is set for release on 29th August but the first leg of marketing has started four months in advance to get the audiences excited about the film. It is also the launch film of Farhan so every effort is being put into the marketing of this film.

The swanky poster carries a tag line 'LIVE YOUR DREAM' and rather unusual looking rockers in Farhan Akhtar, Arjun Rampal, Purab Kohli and Luke Kenny, each flaunting tees with a different theme.

The film revolves around 4 young boys who put together the greatest band this country had ever seen but never make it. Ten years hence fate conspires to bring them together again and set them on a journey back to where they left off. A soul searching pilgrimage into their past.

Produced by Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar under the banner of Excel Entertainment the film is being directed by Abhishek Kapoor. Rock On star's Farhan Akhtar, Arjun Rampal, Prachi Desai, Purab Kohli, Sahana Goswami and Luke Kenny.
