/> Spurred on by the success of his tv show Biggest Loser, Suniel Shetty is all set to carry his physical fitness scheme beyond the realms of reality shows.

"It was a passion to start with. But now when I've become so closely associated with the contestants on the show I feel a constant empathy with them.

I'm buying real estate to build wellness centers where overweight people from all over the country spend a month, lose weight and going back,lighter, happier. In other words I don't want the reality of reality- tv to remain restricted to the entertainment medium."

Suniel is currently looking at the logistics of buying land in Mumbai. "Real estate is big business. To begin with I want to build a wellness center in Mumbai with a gym. It isn't for body building but for staying healthy. From Mumbai we go elsewhere."

After the Biggest Loser experience Suniel is totally convinced that fitness is far from a fad among the middleclass in this country.

"It was so far thought that staying trim was for those who had money. Now after ordinary people have lost an average of 35-40 pounds on the show there's a new wellness awareness in the country.

Everywhere I go I am asked, 'How do I lose my potbelly?' As though that's the beer-all end-all of fitness. People are taking the show very seriously."

Suniel is now planning Season 2 of Biggest Loser. "We'll now move into various states in the country. We'll choose one contestant from every state. We want to correct whatever was wrong in the first season.

I salute Sahara and Subroto Roy. Biggest Loser is not about earning revenues from SMS. The elimination process is based on genuine merit."

Suniel has another six months to plan his next season of Biggest Loser. "Today if I had to lose out on roles for Biggest Loser I don't mind. But I'm not attracted to fiction only on television.Incidentally I truly admire Ekta. She has given so much talent to the television industry."
