Nikita recently spent a month in Malaysia, shooting for Nileish Malhotra's 'Monopoly' and headed there again for Partho Ghosh's 'Ek Second – Jo Zindagi Badal De'.
"I feel something of a connection with this country," she gushes. Though the shooting left her little time for sightseeing, Nikita managed to bask in the morning sun and shop around Malaysia during her stay there. "I didn't have much energy left after shooting but I just had to explore the place," she adds.
Nikita's stars have been shining pretty bright these days. Modeling offers had been coming her way ever since she donned the Miss India crown in 2003, but now, even her acting career is picking up pace.
"I believe in doing one thing at a time and for now, that thing is acting," she says. This girl seems all set to go places, literally too.
