The first leg of the tour will also have performances by them in Trinidad & Tobago, Houston, Atlantic City, New York, Vancouver, London, said a press statement by Wizcraft International Entertainment, the event management company which is putting together the tour.
While rehearsing for the tour at a hall in Juhu, in the northwest suburb of Mumbai Tuesday, Abhishek Bachchan said Aishwarya and he were excited to perform together on the stage for the first time after their wedding.
'Aishwarya will be performing on some of her most popular numbers, including on the 'Dola re..' number from 'Devdas' with Madhuri Dixit. I am particularly thrilled about performing on the item number 'Kajra re' from 'Bunty Aur Babli' with my dad and Aishwarya,' Abhishek said.
The Bachchans will be accompanied on the tour by Preity Zinta, who is currently on a high after the success of her franchise Kings Eleven Punjab, in the Indian Premier League.
Akshay Kumar and Riteish Deshmukh will also join them. Akshay, however, will perform only in some select cities and not be with the Bachchans throughout the tour.
Shiamak Davar will choreograph the show and the music will be provided by Vishal-Shekhar.
Ahead of the tour, the Bachchans will attend the three-day India International Film Academy (IIFA) awards extravaganza, starting June 6 in Bangkok. Amitabh is the brand ambassador of IIFA.
Their much awaited 'Sarkar Raj' will be premiered there.
