Varma, along with his co-producer Pravin Nischal, has tied up with Mauj Mobile, a division of People Group's Mobile Value Added Services (MVAS), which has conceptualised and designed a game based on the storyline of the film.
The game is based on Shankar Nagre, the protagonist of the film played by Abhishek Bachchan. The player has to solve a kidnapping mystery and prove his innocence battling all his adversaries.
The game was launched at a glittering function here Thursday and Bollywood superstar Amitabh Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai, who also play pivotal roles in the movie, were among those present.
'The essence of 'Sarkar Raj' is sheer power, and when you couple that with a medium that is as powerful as the mobile phone then the end result is bound to be fascinating. The game created by Mauj is highly engaging, and I think one can spend hours fighting the goons,' said Varma.
Manoj Dawane, chief executive officer, People Infocom, said: 'Bollywood remains the most popular source of entertainment in India and hence we are working towards bringing an increasing number of Bollywood content and new products to our consumers.
'Our previous tie-up with 'Sarkar' was overwhelming and we are sure that 'Sarkar Raj' is bound to garner an even more encouraging response,' said Dawane about his association with Varma.
The graphics of the game have been fashioned to highlight the intensity of the movie and screenplay.
Mauj has also customised unique downloads of animations, wallpapers, colour logos, videos and themes for the film.
