Ghai, known to have crafted the careers of Madhuri Dixit, Meenakshi Sheshadri and Mahima Chaudhary, is keen to start his next film soon. And amid murmurs of either Kareena or Aishwarya bagging the project, speculation is rife that it could be the VJ/model Amrita who finally gets selected for the role in a period love story.
The best part of the story is that neither the actress nor the director could be bothered about the media going to town about the announcements. If the fill-in-the-blanks need to be completed, it would have to be by the first-hand reactions of the two contenders for the numero uno crown– Bebo and Ash. But for all you know, Malaika`s younger sis may have the last laugh.
