Ghai, known to have crafted the careers of Madhuri Dixit, Meenakshi Sheshadri and Mahima Chaudhary, is keen to start his next film soon. And amid murmurs of either Kareena or Aishwarya bagging the project, speculation is rife that it could be the VJ/model Amrita who finally gets selected for the role in a period love story.

The best part of the story is that neither the actress nor the director could be bothered about the media going to town about the announcements.
