His first endeavaour a new-age rendering of the Hanuman Chalisa, is probably the most ambitious scheme ever attempted in Hindi film music.
Informs Aadesh, "In one track which is a 'Sitaram Jaap' I've got all the major female playback singers Kavita Krishnamurthy, Anuradha Paudval, Sadhana Sargam, Sunidhi Chauhan, Shreya Ghosal and my wife Vijeta have to lend their voices. I don't think this has been done before."
Aadesh's ambitions to bring the singing fraternity under one rood stretches beyond the feminine domain.
He has got all the major male playback singers to do the Hanuman Chalisa.
Exults the rightly-proud composer. "The Chalisa is traditionally recited by the male. And I've put on display a gallery of singers in the Chalisa that rivals Band Aids 'Do They Know It's Christmas' and Michael Jackson's 'We're The World'.
To begin with, there's Amitji my favourite. He has sung everything from Bhangra-pop to love ballads for me.
Now he has sung the Hanuman Chalisa for me. Then the Chalisa has Sonu Niigaam, Shankar Mahadevan, Hariharan, Shaan, KK, Kailesh Kher, Sukhvinder Singh, Kumar Sanu, Abhijeet, Babul Supriyo, Hans Raj Hans, Manoj Tiwari, lyricist Prasoon Joshi (turning singer), Roop Kumar and his brother Vinod Rathod, and yours truly.
In addition I've got Rahat Fateh Ali Khan to do the alaaps in my Chalisa."
The album entitled Dukh Harta Jai-Jai Hanumanta will kick-start Aadesh's own music label.
"My company is called Veecon Music.I've been inspired to do the Chalisa project because of my brother who's very devout. We start in September. We've handed over the marketing of our company to Prasoon Joshi. Our music will be available on stores across the US."
