Shilpa Shetty has agreed to play the lead in Aruna Raje`s untitled venture. Like Raje`s earlier films like that delved into bold themes, this one too deals with a sensitive issue. It tells the story of prostitutes and makes an attempt to get into their psyche.

Raje admitted, "Shilpa Shetty has conceded to play the lead in my film. I got the idea to make this film when I was working on projects to bring about awareness amongst prostitutes in red light areas." Like actresses Karisma Kapoor, Raveena Tandon and Tabu, who have balanced themselves between art and commercial cinema, Shilpa Shetty too hopes to make the best of both the worlds.
