Macho hero Salman Khan won't get to play a romantic role opposite Aishwarya Rai in Rohan Sippy's directorial debut Kuch Na Kaho. As the shirt-doffing Khan has been dropped from the project. Kuch Na Kaho is the story of two men who fall in love with the same woman (played by Ash). While Abhishek Bachchan is playing one of the male leads, Salman was supposed to play the other.

However, the film's director, Rohan Sippy, son of renowned director Ramesh Sippy, has now replaced Salman with his brother Arbaaz. While the reason for dropping Salman from the project is not clear, it is rumored that Salman himself demanded to be excused from the film, as he wanted to commit himself to his Hollywood project ‘Marigold'. Then Arbaaz did the brotherly act by readily agreeing to step into Salman's shoes for the film.
