The Bachchan family is getting ready to kickstart the highly popularised 'The Unforgettable Tour' which will begin on July 18 at Toronto. The USP of this tour? Well, the emperor of Bollywood himself, Amitabh Bachchan and the most beautiful woman on the planet, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan.
The Bachchans have approached several Bollywood stars to join on board. The family has already started with the rehearsals and putting their best foot forward to make this tour truly unforgettable for their fans.
''It's our way of saying thanks to the global audience for all the support they had extended to the Indian cine industry, '' Aishwarya Rai told newsmen here last night at a press conference about the tour organised and directed by event managers Wizcraft.
Swinging along with them in the state would be petite actor Priety Zinta and Rietish Deshmukh, who would accompany the entire tour with guest stars being Akshay Kumar at Toronto, 'Dhak Dhak' girl Madhuri Dikshit in the US part of the tour and Shilpa Shetty in London. The show would be choreographed by Shiamak Davar.
Aishwarya said, ''I am looking forward to share the stage with Madhuri, a great performer.'' It would not just be song and dance sequences, the actors would play skits, interact with the audience and render some of the famous dialogues. For Shaimak it would be the maiden world tour, the actor said.
The first phase kicking off at Toronto will see the each of the three hour performances at Trinidad (July 20), Los Angeles (July 26), San Franscisco (July 27), Houston (August 2), Atlanta city (August 9), Chicago (August 10), New York (August 15), Vancouver (August 17), London (August 23 and 24) and Holland (August 29).
Amitabh said the tour would provide an out of the world experience, an event that would leave Indian movie fans asking for more.
While it would be the first major tour for Abhishek, Big B is a veteran of many such concerts abroad starting from his initial one way back in 1981.
The master tale weaver of the Indian cine world, unmindful of his age is all set to embark upon the major tour, which according to Aishwarya is set to keep up the momentum up for the growing popularity of the Indian cinema worldwide.
The tour would not stop with America and Europe. It would travel to West Asia, south east Asia and Australia in two other phases upto February next year, Wizcrat International Entertainment Director Sabbas Joseph said.
Wizcraft has conceptualised and promoted the tour. the third phase would be in various cities in India.
