Model-turned-actor Milind Soman isn`t the piece of log you would like to believe he is. Witness Agni Varsha for evidence. The handsome hunk holds his own in a film that has a phalanx of stars - Jackie Shroff, Nagarjuna, Raveena Tandon and Prabhu Deva, among others.
The solidity of his performance in the Arjun Sajnani-directed film makes you wonder why Milind continues to do TV serials when he should be concentrating full time on the big screen. "I have a production company and I am a stand-up actor," he explains.
While that may sound fine, Mr. Soman, it does your career as a film actor no good, especially because a host of models have been making rapid strides in showbiz in recent months. Surely Milind Soman has it in him to take on the competition posed by the likes of Dino Morea, Jimmy Shergill and Arjun Rampal.
