Television actress Saakshi Tanwar, whose reputation rests on her typical Bharatiya nari role in Kahani Ghar Ghar Ki, the popular Star Plus serial, is all set to break free. In Kahin Door, a digital video film produced by Digital Talkies, she plays a woman out to assert her sexuality.
The film is about a young woman married to a much older man. A stranger abducts her for he wants to settle scores with her husband. The woman seduces her abductor. Saakshi is understandably excited since the character gives her the opportunity to explore a new facet of womanhood.
But she is quick to point out that there is no nudity in the film. She is all praise for the director, Sandeep Verma, who has conveyed sexuality through subtle means. In fact, Saakshi is draped in a sari throughout Kahin Door. wants to work with, right?
