Akshay is on a mission to get him back to India, to his Punjab hometown specifically, from this foreign country.
This journey of Akshay's results in a lot of developments for Akshay's village simpleton character, especially more after he finally meets Sonu and Akshay too becomes a King of sorts."
But Sonu refuses to divulge more about this and instead speaks about how much fun he had on the film's sets and how great it was working with his co-stars. Sonu had recieved a lot of critical acclaim for his last release, Jodhaa Akbar where he played Aishwarya Rai's brother.
The lanky actor who celebrated his birthday just days back on 30th of July has three releases lined up for release this year.
He says, "I am eagerly looking ahead for these three films which I consider are very important for my career. These are Anees Bazmee directed Singh Is Kinng, UTV produced Dhoondte Reh Jaaoge and Rajshri Productions' Ek Vivah Aisa Bhi along with Eesha Koppikar.
I consider them very importanta because all three belong to different genres. My whole of last year has gone in completing these three in a hectic pace."
Reportedly Sonu has also been signed by J.P. Dutta for his upcoming, action thriller. Sonu however comments in regards to this, "It is too early to comment on it right now. If there is anymore development I would certainly let you all know."
