Of late, he has been hopping from one part of the globe to the other.

It has been a gruelling travel schedule in the last few months for the teenage heartthrob and Bollywood's new style icon Abhishek Bachchan-flitting between the sets of Karan Johar's 'Dostana' and the promotions for Ram Gopal Verma's 'Sarkar Raj' and then, from last week of July, travelling from Toronto in Canada to Trinidad to Los Angeles and San Francisco in connection with the 'Unforgettable Tour', a series of live concerts featuring him alongside dad Amitabh Bachchan, mother Jaya Bachchan, wife Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Preity Zinta, Akshay Kumar, Madhuri Dixit and Riteish Deshmukh.

If that was not enough, in the midst of his busy Unforgettable tour, Abhishek flew in all the way last night from San Francisco to Delhi to felicitate India's contingent for the Beijing Olympics in his capacity as Omega Brand ambass The schedule may be hectic but Abhishek Bachchan is not complaining. Infact, he is in high spirit, buoyed by the success of his 'Unforgettable Tour'.

''Doing the 'Unforgettable Tour' has been one of the most exciting experiences of my life. We have had four shows so far in Toronto, Trinidad, Los Angeles and San Francisco. The response has been nothing short of overwhelming. The reactions have far surpassed our expectations.

Akshay Kumar performed at the inaugural show at Toronto. Madhuri Dixit will be performing throughout the US Leg of our tour while Shilpa Shetty will perform at the London Leg of the tour. Then, there is Dad (Amitabh Bachchan), Aishwarya and Riteish Deshmukh.

For me personally, performing alongside people like my father, Aishwarya, Madhuri and Akshay has been one of the memorable experiences of my life. No doubt, it has been a gruelling and hectic schedule but I am enjoying every moment of it, '' Abhishek told in an interview here.

Asked about reports that at the Unforgettable tour, it was he who had been hogging limelight, attracting a huge female crowd, Abhishek said, ''there is no question of my hogging the limelight from anyone.

In any case, when dad is performing, then there is no way that anyone else can hog the limelight. Infact, his enthusiasm and the verve and energy he brings to his performance is unparalleled.

This reflected in his writing effusively about the tour on his blog.'' The 'Unforgettable Tour', which kicked off on July 23 in Toronto, is to span ten cities, with exotic destinations like Toronto, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Trinidad & Tobago, Houston, Atlantic City, New York, Vancouver, London and Amsterdam featuring on the list.

However, latest reports say the tour would skip Vancouver and finish the first phase in Oberhausen, Germany.

Currently, the tour is in its US Leg where shows have been held in Los Angeles and San Francisco. Next, the Unforgettable Tour goes to Houston on August 2 followed by Atlantic City on August 9, Chicago on August 10 and then in New York on August 15, on the Independence Day.

The success of the 'Unforgettable Tour' may have been a high point of his life and career but even otherwise, it is an exciting phase in the career of Abhishek.

While his last release 'Sarkar Raj' has won audience attention as well as critical acclaim for the junior Bachchan, lined up in the coming months are a host of films featuring him which traverse diverse genres.

There is Goldie Behl's 'Drona', which is slated for release October 2, Tarun Mansukhani's 'Dostana', featuring him with Priyanka Chopra and John Abraham, is in advanced stages of production, Rakeysh Mehra's 'Dilli 6'.

Then there is Rohan Sippy's next venture and Mani Rathnam's next film featuring him with Aishwarya and South Star Vikram.

''The coming months are going to be extremely busy. When I come back, I will be wrapping up the shooting for ‘Dostana'. Then, I will be busy in shooting for 'Dilli 6'.

Thereafter, I will begin shooting for Rohan Sippy's next and Mani Sir's next film. It is a hectic schedule no doubt. But then, it all comes with the fact of being a star, ''Abhishek said.

Presently, however, he is quite excited about Goldie Behl's 'Drona'. Trade buzz is that 'Drona', featuring him opposite Priyanka Chopra, is another film on the lines of Rakesh Roshan's 'Krrish'.

''It is not a superhero film, '' Abhishek clarifies.

''Rather, it is a fantasy film. Infact, it is a unique role for me, unlike anything that I have ever done before.

‘Drona' is a unique film, something that has never before been attempted in Indian cinema. The audience response to the teaser trailer for the film has been really huge.

I have been getting lot of fan mail where people say they love the trailer. All of us have really worked hard on the film and am eagerly awaiting its release, ''Abhishek said excitedly.
